Dividend = (Divisor × Quotient) + Remainder

Relationship between dividend, divisor, quotient and remainder.

💡 17 = (5 × 3) + 2

HCF(a, b) × LCM(a, b) = a × b

Product of HCF and LCM equals product of the two numbers.

💡 HCF(4,6)=2, LCM(4,6)=12 → 2×12=4×6=24

Percentage = (Part / Whole) × 100

Express a part as per hundred.

💡 15 out of 60 = (15/60)×100 = 25%

a/b + c/d = (ad + bc) / bd

Add fractions with different denominators.

(a/b) × (c/d) = ac / bd

Multiply numerators and denominators separately.

(a/b) ÷ (c/d) = (a/b) × (d/c) = ad / bc

Multiply by the reciprocal of the divisor.

P = 2(l + b)

Sum of all four sides.

A = l × b

Length multiplied by breadth.

Side squared.

Half base times height.
