📚 Understanding Fractions

🥧 What is a Fraction?

A fraction represents a part of a whole. The top number (numerator) shows how many parts you have, and the bottom (denominator) shows how many equal parts make up the whole.

➕ Adding & Subtracting

To add or subtract fractions, first find a common denominator. Then add or subtract the numerators and keep the denominator the same.

Simply multiply the numerators together and the denominators together. It's the easiest operation! Don't forget to simplify.
